На рынке недвижимости это выражение применяется к оценке земли и строений или земли, зданий и оборудования. Термин часто используется в заключенияхэкспертов относительно рыночной стоимости имущества, которое может быть включено в бухгалтерские счета компании, когда оценка представляет интерес,напр., для акционеров, или требуется при слияниях или поглощениях компаний, размещениях акций и ипотеках (МСО).
